After becoming European Champions, the Lionesses published a letter: “Currently only 63% of girls can play football in PE Lessons.” Their demand: “We want every young player in the nation to be able to play football at school.”

Join us in achieving this!

This is an invaluable opportunity for girls who may not otherwise access enrichment opportunities to participate in meaningful and fulfilling activities and exciting off-site events. It is character building and gives them an immense sense of achievement to be part of the events and the team.

ABOUT LOVE THE GAME

Our Nike partnered programme, Love the Game, helps primary school girls across London create a deep-rooted love for sport from a young age, that will help the girls to form positive life-long habits via a positive connection with sport.

Together, we will break down cultural and socio-economic barriers for girls, coaches and teachers and give them access to sport in a way that they might never have experienced before.

About Girls United

Girls United delivers programmes that are created specifically to combat the lack of female opportunity and drop-out rates of girls and young women in sport. Our vision is for girls around the world to have equal access to sport and to provide them with skills and abilities that will enable them to fulfil their potential, in sport, education and professionally.
