Our course is aimed at developing socially conscious individuals with transferable skills to become leaders in society through classroom theory, a social impact project and on-pitch football sessions.
Key themes within the Social Leadership Course: Creating safe environments, Leadership skills, Social impact through play, Impacting social issues, Transferable life skill development.
Football Coaching: We give participants understanding of coaching football session so that they can participate in Girls United Club sessions as assistant coaches.
Learn from interactive workshops and projects themed on football coaching and social leadership.
Gain work experience as you participate and coach at Girls United Mexico clubs with local players and lead coaches.

We want the programme to be accessible for everyone that is enthusiastic about the project!
We can arrange a work exchange scheme in which you take on additional responsibilities during your time at the academy and we subsidies the programme costs. The responsibilities will vary depending on your level of Spanish, your experience in coaching and your specific strengths in a workplace. They can range from:
Social Media management/COMMS
Photography and video production
Additional coaching responsibilities
Organisational and administrative tasks
Language teaching (English or Spanish)
Subsidies will be offered depending on the work commitment and can range from 10% to 50%.

For more experienced coaches
Each 8-week International Coaching Programme provides an opportunity for one applicant to be promoted to a Head Coach Intern role, with the successful candidate selected based on prior experience and coaching qualification relevant to the role. All programme expenses covered.
Lead and coordinate the volunteer group,
Oversee the training programme for the duration of programme
Provide additional coach education and mentoring to volunteer group
Experience coaching/playing, experience managing or leading teams, excellent communication skills, leadership skills, approachable and understanding, proactive and independent worker, able to build positive relationship with coaches and players and problem solving. A basic knowledge of Spanish and a minimum intermediate level in English is required.
